This course provides the essential knowledge and skills to support families facing the heartbreaking experience of fetal demise. Participants will explore the risk factors associated with fetal loss and learn effective strategies for providing compassionate, holistic care. The course will cover critical topics including the physical and emotional aspects of stillbirth, legal considerations, and best practices for creating a supportive birth plan. Participants will also be introduced to resources available to families navigating the loss of a baby, and will develop the skills necessary to communicate and guide families through difficult decisions and grief.
